CONFUSION IN KADUNA APC AS AGGRIEVED PARTY MEMBERS SET UP PARALLEL PARTY SECRETARIAT

Kaduna State Gov. Malam Nasir El-Rufai, troubled as discord sets in on party in the state.

As we count down to 2019 general elections hots up, the Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai’s re-election bid may have been jeopardized as aggrieved members of his All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State have flouted a of the party in the state.

The members, whose number have not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report. The move, according to watchers may be a way of reducing the Gov’s political dominance and influence in the state.

The group, Daily Post has reported, have also issued the governor a query, as well putting on suspension three leaders of the party as a fallout.

The Acting state Chairman of the party, Danladi Wada, in a statement released in Kaduna Wednesday said the move was necessary due to the constant harassment of the party members considered as threats to the interest of a few in the party.

“The decision to relocate as approved by the majority members of the State Executive Committee becomes necessary so as to create a harmonious working condition, considering the unprecedented manner by which some politicians have permanently deployed thugs that invaded the former address harassing and intimidating and beating innocent officers,” he said.

He added that governor El-Rufai has been queried just as they were expecting him to answer the query within 48 hours.

“Failure to do that, the state working committee will sit down and deliberate on the next line of action. We queried Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai for his anti-party activities and anti-human activities. The letters would be delivered to these personalities today,” Wada said.
