"Every
generation out of relative obscurity discovers its mission, fulfills it or
betrays it." - Frantz Fanon.
I have been inundated with
calls and messages demanding the continuation of the SAPELE series, but
intervening matters of national interest got in the way. However, this is the
conclusion of the series.
Sapele will always remain
a call to industrialization and infrastructural development. I know a Sapele
that had one of the best Township Stadium in the old Bendel State. A Sapele
with one of the best Golf Courses in Nigeria. A Sapele that besides the AT
& P, had the best Roof making Company in Nigeria (Eternit), the best
Package making Company (Delta Pack), Nigeria's biggest Thermal Power generation
outfit (Ogorode, Sapele) and many more, now defunct or at best comatose.
Sapele inspires a strong
call for renewed infrastructural development, for industrialization, for Youths
and Sports development, for Power generation and for a total overhaul of our
leadership paradigms. Sapele is a call for national cohesion centred on
JUSTICE, on FAIRNESS, on EQUITY & on EXCELLENCE.
And SAPELE is the
challenging imperative for which I seek the high office of President come 2019.
Sapele stands for the...
S-Strategic
A-Altruistic
P-Progressive &
E-Egalitarian
L-Leadership
E-Enterprise
which I offer, knowing
that A NEW, A BETTER & A PROSPEROUS NIGERIA IS POSSIBLE.
*Concluded.
