Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Blasts South East Governors…Read What He Called Them

Ifeanyi Ejiofor (l) with his client, Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader (m).
The legal counsel to the missing the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB leader (Nnamdi Kanu), Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Barrister-at-law, has lashed out at the five Southeastern States Governors.

Ejiofor, apparently irked by the non-support of his client on the agitation for a Biafran State, has described the Governors lily-livered and cowards!

The lawyer stated this recently while reviewing the role that the Governors played during the deployment of the military codenamed “Egwu Eke II” (Operation Python Dance II) that saw to the fleeing of Nnamdi Kanu to an unknown destination and the subsequent proscription of the group by the Federal Government.

He accused the governors of abandoning their own when they were needed by Kanu to give support to the agitation for a Sovereign State of Biafra, but instead were fighting to secure their political positions.

He however warned that the present crop of leaders in the South East will be swept out during the 2019 elections.

According to him, “Southeast Governors have no power to say IPOB is a terrorist organization and that is very certain. I condemned it, and they have withdrawn it, saying they never at any point said that. What they said is a political statement to obtain favour from the Federal Government. Some of them are cowards and are saying that because they want to secure their political offices. We will mobilise youths who will come out in 2019 to sweep out all of the politicians,” Ejiofor boasted.

Reacting to the alleged invasion of Kanu’s residence on September 14, Ejiofor insisted that the Military was working with the Federal Government and Hausa leaders to enslave the rest parts of Nigeria, adding that the invasion of the South East, particularly Abia State, was aimed at silencing the Igbos and the struggle for the actualization of Biafra.

“This is a Northern agenda to cleanse the entire Igbos. Those who are demanding for Biafra do not wield weapons nor carry arms. The army is following the ploy to forcefully capture Nnamdi Kanu and silence his supporters. There are other people like the herdsmen who walk about with AK-47s, but the government has not deployed the military against them,” he concluded.
