Even Rats Have Rejected You, Asari Dokubo Mocks Buhari

Alhaji Mujaheed Asari Dokubo.

Former militant leader, Alhaji Mujaheed Asari Dokubo, has described the rat invasion of President Buhari’s office as a national shame.

According the ex militant, the rat invasion of the President's office was a sign that he has been rejected, not only by Nigerians, but also little animals.

Dokubo stated this shortly after news broke that President Muhammadu Buhari was working from home due to rodents invasion of his office.

Recall that the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Tuesday, August 22, was reported to have said rats had destroyed some valuable items in Buhari’s office and as such, the President would be working from his home.

Reacting to Garba’s statement, Dokubo in a video post on Wednesday August 23, described the rat attack on Buhari’s office as a shame. The former agitator, speaking in parables, said rats had pursued the lion king from office. "It is a shame to Nigeria to report Buhari’s rat incident to the BBC,” he said, adding, “They told us that the lion king was coming to chase out the hyenas and other animals, little did we know that rat took the challenge and chased him out of his office."

Dokubo said the rat invasion was a sign that Buhari had been rejected as President, not only by a major of Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) had mocked Nigeria in their publication of Wednesday, August 22, 2017 over claims that the President has been chased out from office by rats. The BBC first reported the news in Pidgin and then Standard English, quoting the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media, Garba Shehu.
